You can open an account with us, as long as you are over 18 and have minimum initial capital of EUR 300,000 or the equivalent in another currency.

Basic account-opening requirements

All potential clients: original passport, certified passport copies or other identification papers.
Private individuals resident in an EU country: proof of address, in the form of a utility bill.
Private individuals resident outside the EU: a tax certificate issued by the relevant authority in your country of residence.
For companies: additional documentation, details of which can be obtained on request.

What happens in an account?

Broadly speaking, your account centralises all your financial transactions and is the medium through which these transactions are processed and retained. Accounts can usually be maintained in the currency of your choice, so that you can see what is happening in your reference, or "base", currency.
