Issuers

The issuers used by Nordea, when constructing structured products, are all government owned entities. Eksportfinans ASA is only 15% owned by the local government, while the rest of the issuers are 100% owned by the government.

The risk in Nordea’s structured product are the same as government bonds issued by Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden. Therefore we feel very confident with our issuers and see no need to worry that any of them will default during this financial crisis.
